Greetings all. We’re looking forward to the CIRCL meeting next week in Austin and online.

I wanted to give you some logistical information as we’re finalizing the agenda.

Most of you coming to Austin will be staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites at 1701 Lavaca St, Austin, TX 78701

The meeting will be held at the School of Information just a block away: 1616 Guadalupe St, Suite #5.202, Austin, TX 78701

We’ll be on the 5th floor large conference room. We’ll be on the look out for folks to provide directions.

If you are driving in for the day, there is the Guadalupe Garage physically connected to the building with the iSchool ( 1616 Guadalupe St, Austin, TX 78701 ). Grab a ticket when you come into the garage. We’ll give you a “chaser” ticket to pay for the parking when you leave.

We’re also arranging for food at the event (breakfasts, lunches, dinner, and snacks). Look forward to a taco bar and authentic barbeque. Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions. Vegan options will be provided.

As I mentioned, the agenda is being finalized. We’ll have Ozy Aloziem facilitating the meeting (https://academicaffairs.du.edu/ccesl/about/faculty-directory/ozy-aloziem). We will also be talking about the possibility of submitting an IMLS planning grant. The call for that is here: https://www.imls.gov/grants/available/national-leadership-grants-libraries
